How far is The Rad Retreat from the Desert Color lagoon?
The Rad Retreat is not directly next to the 2.5-acre Desert Color lagoon, but it is conveniently located within walking distance. Plan on about a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive to reach the lagoon.
Is there EV charging at The Rad Retreat?
Yes. The home includes a 240V 48A EV charging outlet, a Tesla charger cord, and an adapter for other electric vehicles.
What vacation gear is available to use in the garage?
The garage is stocked to make lagoon days and Southern Utah outings easier. Guests can use two inflatable paddleboards, beach chairs, pool floats, life jackets, coolers, hydration packs, a child hiking carrier, disc golf gear, and labeled grab-and-go bags for the beach, pool, splash pad, and park. Specific contents may change as gear is replaced.
What's included in the grab-and-go bags?
Four labeled bags make it easy to head out without packing activity gear from home. The beach bag has swim goggles, a sandproof blanket, collapsible buckets, shovels, sand toys, and a mesh carry bag. The pool bag has a rotating mix of goggles, snorkel masks, swim fins, dive rings, water blasters, small water toys, and a handheld pump. The splash pad bag has buckets, a watering can, foam water blasters, lightweight balls, and other water toys for younger kids. The park bag has a rocket launcher, toss-and-catch games, foam bat and ball gear, badminton, flying discs, and an exploring net. Contents may change as gear is replaced.
Is the kitchen stocked for group meals?
Yes. The kitchen is set up for real cooking with a gas range, convection oven, stand mixer, blender, food processor, air fryer, griddle, waffle maker, rice cooker, slow cooker, serving boards, platters, and kid-friendly dishes.
Is The Rad Retreat good for families with young kids?
Yes. Families will find a Pack 'n Play with sheets, toddler booster seat, kid-friendly dishes and cups, bibs, kids water bottles, beach toys, pool toys, bunk room, and full laundry setup.
Is The Rad Retreat a good fit for tournament weekends?
Yes. The home works well for sports families with room to spread out, a full kitchen for easy meals, laundry for uniforms and jerseys, garage storage for coolers and gear, and plenty of ways to unwind between games.
Can I work remotely from the house?
Yes. The fourth-floor office includes a 32-inch monitor, keyboard, mouse, desk chair, Ethernet, strong Wi-Fi, and a quiet location away from the main hangout areas.
What entertainment is available at night?
There are 3 big-screen TVs in the home, a retro gaming setup, video and app streaming, Sonos soundbars, board games, card games, and rooftop fire table for easy nights in.

Are pets or smoking allowed?
No. The Rad Retreat is a no-smoking and no-pets vacation rental.
